The influence of nutrition on hoof growth and the integrity of the horn is profound, although genetics plays a big part too with some horses and ponies having better hooves than others. The list of routine nutrients for maintaining strong resistant hooves that grow sufficiently to cope with wear and tear when barefoot or presents the farrier with fresh new tissue for shoeing is well documented and includes calcium, phosphorus, magnesium etc, sufficient digestible crude protein and vitamins including extra biotin. The Tenderfoot formula provides all the necessary vitamins, minerals and amino acids to support optimum hoof growth and integrity.

Super stuff. My horses feet had gone into a pattern of inflammation after several health issues, colic, antibiotics etc resulting in a loss of hoof integrity and flexible soles. I have fed EquiNourish for a while but felt I needed something a bit more targeted to feet. This stuff, combined with boots and pads as recommended by my trimmer has really helped. You see the new growth shooting down and it is lovely! Highly recommended.
